Juvenile Long-tailed Duck.

Tony Disley obtained the four images below of the bird today, 27/10. Interestingly the bird shows an obviously elongated central tail feather, a male characteristic, although there appears to be no indication of the bird acquiring any male bill colouration as yet.

Both sets of images were taken in differing light conditions, bright on the 26th (below) and overcast on 27th (above).
